[OP-ED] Why Not An Early Endorsement? Before it is too Late, President Biden.

A year in advance (why not?), before it’s too late, our public manifestation of support for President Biden 2024-2028.

Incumbent President Biden deserves a second shot at the highest office in the Land — the White House Oval Office — given the current challenges of our national politics, and also, the clear absence of straightforward voices from the president's party.

The blue of President Kennedy, even President Carter, President Clinton, and President Obama, each of them with their own quota of shortcomings and also great talents, each half of the stakes in our current bipartisan national politics.

A party in which women — not surprisingly — are ahead of the pack in terms of viable candidates for the immediate future.

For example, Dr. Jill Biden, born in New Jersey and raised in Pennsylvania, and called by our city’s newspaper of record, the President’s “secret weapon.” Naturally, legitimately, we would act to it.

Take also current vice president, Mrs. Kamala Harris, with just one stop away in the succession pecking order and the first woman in America elevated to the position of second-in-command.

Look at those other two (2) who stand tall as well in the horizon as viable V.P.s or even outright successor of the 80-year-old man in charge of the powerful office of the President of the United States.

On one hand, Michelle Obama, “the better half of the Obama couple,” as Barack would decisively agree with his close friends.

Unvanquished, the former First Lady, once herself a U.S. presidential candidate in 2016 — the powerful and influential Secretary of the State across the globe — the courageous and very dignified wife of the former President Bill Clinton — the famous quipper that promised a “two for the price of one” to gullible voters across the 50 States.

In the Keystone State, in beautiful Pennsylvania, with a young governor, Mr. Josh Shapiro, and very likely a woman for the first time ever, in charge of Philadelphia City Hall, the odds in favor of preserving the 20 PA Electoral Votes in the Biden/blue column are obviously high in keeping Pennsylvania in the Biden/blue column.

AL DÍA in its 30 years of uninterrupted publishing has never endorsed any candidate for national offices, but, BUT, given the extraordinary times we are living in, we can’t stay sidelined as the violence, and unfortunately, the open blood shedding, rages on its the city and across the nation.

We are already persuaded that President Biden and his new ‘Bidenenomics’ unveiled in Philadelphia, will give confidence across the board to ensure North America’s prosperity and peace in which we are looking at from a distance will be with certainty for the next 8 years.
