Danny Ramirez has been cast in 'Black Mirror' Season 6
Latino actor Danny Ramírez will be joining the cast of the new season of 'Black Mirror.'

The sixth season of the science-fiction series Black Mirror is underway, as confirmed by Variety and Hollywood Reporter.
Although a release date for the production is still unknown, the cast is public. They are — German-American actress Zazie Beetz, the UK's Paapa Essiedu, Josh Hartnett, Aaron Paul, Kate Mara, Denmark's Clara Rugaard, Auden Thornton, Singapore's Anjana Vasan and Danny Ramirez.
Ramírez, an American of Colombian and Mexican descent, is known for his roles in the series On My Block, The Falcon, The Winter Soldier and No Exit. Recently, the 29-year-old Latino actor managed got a boost in Hollywood thanks to his participation in the movie Top Gun: Maverick, where he worked alongside Tom Cruise.
Ramírez and the other confirmed actors and actresses were reported to play parts in three episodes of the sixth season of Black Mirror. Although the fifth season — released in 2019 — has only had three episodes, rumors say that the new season will have six.
Black Mirror is an anthology series, which exposes the dark sides of technology, and also deals with issues such as morality and loneliness. The production premiered on Channel 4 in 2011, and on Netflix, as of Season 3. The production offers viewers episodes with independent plots.
Its creator is the British television presenter and writer Charlie Brooker, who has worked on the development of the script for each of the hour-long episodes with the producer Annabel Jones.
Throughout five seasons of broadcast, actors such as Jesse Plemons, Cristin Milioti, Rosemarie DeWitt, Douglas Hodge, Andrea Riseborough, and Brenna Harding have participated in Black Mirror.
Georgina Campbell, Joe Cole, Bryce Dallas Howard, Alice Eve, James Norton, Daniel Kaluuya, Oona Chaplin, Topher Grace, Anthony Mackie, Miley Cyrus, are some of the other big names.
The acclaimed series has won six Emmy awards, including two for Best Television Movie for the episode "San Junípero" from Season 3 (which tells the story of two girls who fall in love in virtual reality), and the Season 4 episode "USS Callister" (considered a parody of Star Trek).
