As Best International Film is the film "Argentina, 1985", directed by Santiago Mitre and starring Ricardo Darín.
"A dream came true. Thanks to everyone who made this journey possible, from the protagonists of the true story to the audience who chose it with so much love," wrote the film's producer, Axel Kuschevatzky, on his Twitter account.
At the Golden Globes close to 20% of the nominees were Latinos, unlike the Oscars where there are only three direct nominations of Latinos, reported Telemundo. This is due to the fact that the Oscars only award movies and not TV series.
The 95th Oscars will be held on Sunday 12th March at the Dolby Theatre at the Ovation Hollywood and will be broadcast live on ABC.
