Pedro Capó, the Puerto Rican singer, composer and actor, announced on Monday, Aug. 16 on Instagram that he has recovered the coronavirus and will be able to perform live on Sept. 10 on his home island.

The artist had made it be known on Aug. 12, also through social media, that having contracted COVID-19, he was forced to cancel the concert agreed for Aug. 15.

"Good morning Family! By this means I want to inform you that unfortunately I have tested positive for COVID-19 for my performance this coming Sunday, Aug. 15, at the Coca Cola Music Hall," Capó wrote.

With excitement, yesterday, he shared on his Twitter the news of his recovery:

The artist took advantage of his post to share his stable condition with his followers during quarantine and clarified that the presentation postponed due to the illness had been scheduled and confirmed for next Friday, Sept. 10.

He also announced that those who had purchased tickets for the Sunday, Aug. 15 performance will be able to use them on a newly scheduled date.
