
Myke Towers named "godfather" of the Gigantes de Carolina, a double-A team in Puerto Rico

April 20th, 2023According to EFE, rising Latin music star Myke Towers was selected by the Gigantes de Carolina of the Double A Liga Superior of Puerto Rico to be the team's "godfather" this season — its sponsor.
Per the board of directors of the Gigantes, Towers was chosen for "his contribution in inspiring thousands of young people locally and internationally and his trajectory of overcoming, focus and vision in music and entertainment."
So what will the sponsorship look like? Towers' name will be on the uniforms of the team's players, according to a press release issued by the team.

To make the singer's appointment official, the team will hold a concert on March 25, prior to the Gigantes' game against the Guaynabo Mets at Roberto Clemente Walker Stadium.
The Gigantes de Carolina returned to the Double A Liga Superior of Puerto Rico in 2021, creating a buzz in the Carolina community after several years of absence.
