Dr. Tania Medina, a plastic surgeon from the Dominican Republic internationally recognized as an ambassador of self-love, was a guest panelist at the second edition of the Vogue Business Summit. She was also on the September cover of Vogue Business.

During her panel "The beauty of loving myself: a new era in plastic surgery," which she took part in along with Lina Lopera and Claudia Valdez, she spoke about real beauty, the pillars of self-esteem, gratitude, plastic surgery and emotional factors when it comes to making any aesthetic change.

Medina stands out for carrying out the medical practice in a different way, always emphasizing that any change at a cosmetic level must be born from self-love. Before performing it, the subject must also have a healthy self-esteem.

"In the plastic surgery business, the name of a Latina is inscribed, who through emotions generated a way to support her patients to achieve their dreams," read the Vogue Business feature about the Dominican.

The 2022 Vogue Business Summit took place at the Four Seasons Hotel in Mexico City. The event brought together top business leaders whose success stories have inspired thousands of people around the world.
