AL DÍA News' celebration of Latina and multicultural women in leadership was held at the Palomar Hotel on Nov. 2 in Philadelphia.  The themes of health and wellness, personal growth and professional development were topics of interest during panel discussions. Several women were honored for achievements within their careers and inspiring other women to open even more doors and opportunities.

Iris Delgado, anchor of Telemumdo 62,  Sara Manzano-Diaz, former director of the Women's Bureau at the U.S. Department of Labor, and Uva Coles, associate vice president of civic and global engagement at Widener College, were among the persons in attendance. Also present at the celebration were Raquel M. Arredondo, associate director of outreach, engagement and professional development for Drexel University's LeBow College of Business, Yai Vargas, founder & CEO of The Latinista, and Nina Vaca, CEO & chairperson of the Pinnacle Group.
